Revive Me, oh Lord!

"Revive me, O Lord, for Your name's sake! For Your righteousness' sake, bring my soul out of trouble," as Psalm 143:11 (NKJV) states, expressing a plea for renewal and deliverance.

Do you ever feel like you need a refreshing in your life, and in your soul?
I have gone through times in my life where I was physically, mentally, and spiritually down. Last year (2024) was a tough year for me. I was physically sick and faced death in the eyes four different times. I lost both my Mom and my Dad. I was drained emotionally and spiritually. By the end of the year I didn't have any fight left in me. I was just drained, and didn't know if I could go on much longer.

I cried out to the Lord every day to help me, to strengthen me and revive my soul spiritually. It didn't all happen at once, but slowly I began to heal. Today I can say that I have been revived by the Lord. I feel physically better, I have my strength back. Mentally and emotionally I am happy and joyful. I have drawn closer to the Lord, and to my wife.

I read or listened to the Word of God every day. The Lord comforted me when I needed comfort the most. He fed me many days when I was too weak to cook and feed myself. Neighbors would knock on my door almost every day to check on me and they would bring me food to eat and asked me if I needed anything.

I'm sharing this with you to show you the goodness of God. You may think you are alone and no one cares about you, but the Lord is there with you and he cares for you. He already knows your needs and your desires. I have more love for people now than I have ever had because of what I went through. Man may fail you but God is always there by your side. He will never leave you, nor forsake you, ever.

What I went through was only temporary. I knew in my heart that I would rise up again to serve the Lord, and I have.

3 John 2 states, "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul." (ESV)

Our prayer for you is that God will revive you, refresh your soul, give you good health and good relationships. We pray that your mind will be healed of all your hurts and trauma, and that you will have the peace of God in your heart. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

What Are You Believing For?

What ARE you believing for?
Do you believe it can be yours?

A man had a son who had an evil spirit in him which caused his son to foam at the mouth and gnash his teeth. It would throw his son into a fire, and into the water trying to destroy his son. He came to Jesus and told him that he had taken his son to his disciples but they could not cast the evil spirit out (Mark 9:14 - 29).

In verse 23 Jesus said unto him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Jesus then cast out the evil spirit and he was made whole.

There are times in our life when it seems like we we face an impossible situation.

Your bank account is overdrawn...

Your doctor just gave you a bad report that you have an incurable disease.

I faced a situation like that in 2006 when I was sick, and was in pain. I went to the emergency room at a local hospital and after some blood tests, x-rays and a CT scan, they admitted me. They would only tell me that I was having some trouble with my liver. They kept me for four days and ran numerous tests on me, and finally told me that I have to see a liver specialist. Two weeks later I did see a liver specialist and what he told me left me speechless. He said my liver was dying, that I had end stage liver failure and that I was going to have to get a liver transplant if I wanted to live.

He then shared with me that I needed to get my affairs in order, and call my relatives and inform them because he couldn't guarantee that I would live long without a liver transplant.

Those very words caught me off guard. For two days I thought about what he shared and I prayed. I then went to the local church that I was a member of and spoke with two pastor friends of mine about the situation. They prayed for me to be healed in the name of Jesus.

My case was then transferred to another hospital who would pay for the liver transplant. That hospital ran further tests, and a few days later I saw a liver specialist there to get a second opinion. When the doctor entered the exam room she was shaking her head. She shared with me the results of the first set of tests done showing that I had end stage liver failure. She then handed me the second set of reports and said, "I don't understand it, but we can't find anything wrong with your liver." God had healed my liver and I never did get the transplant. By the grace, and healing power of God, I am still alive and doing well today.

I believed that I was healed, and I was healed!

With God all things are possible to him that believes!

Do You Really Know What You Want In Life?

What goal presently excites and energizes you? When you are alone and away from everyone else, what do you dream of becoming, doing, possessing? When people hear your name spoken, what do they automatically think of? What legacy do you want to pass on to others?

Few People Really Know What They Want.

They do not realize that their dream is either born within them or borrowed from someone else. I have talked to so many people who admitted that their present pursuit was simply something their mother or father desired for them... something others expected of them...the result of a convenient opportunity that never became their own personal vision. How disappointing that most people never pursue their own inner passion. But that person does not have to be you.

Your Dream Is Closer Thank You Can Imagine.

Your dream is completely obtainable. Recognize it. Embrace it. Pursue it. This is your season to do something significant with your life.

Please Give to Help Ship Boxes of Food, Clothes, and Personal Items

Jesus taught us about giving. He was a giver. There were times when he fed the multitudes when they were hungry. When he traveled, the twelve disciples and others traveled with him. He was responsible for not only teaching them, but feeding them as well. He generously gave of himself.

We have a responsibility to give to others in need. We are sending three boxes of food, clothing, and toiletry items to the Philippines to be distributed to those in need. The shipping and related expenses cost approximately $390 to ship the three boxes.

We have already received $80 toward shipping these boxes. Will you give $20... $40... or $100 towards this project? Any amount that you give will go toward shipping these boxes to the Philippines. The shipping company is picking up the boxes this Friday, October 21, 2022.
