This is What We Do

Josie and I are very thankful for what we do. We are very happy that we get to help change people's lives, showing them a better way.

Some may ask, "What is it that you do?"

* We help people spiritually get their relationship right with the Lord.

* We show them how they can have eternal life with the Lord.

* We pray for the sick and those who are hurting, both physically and emotionally.

* We go out into our community and share the good news that you can have a better life.

* We visit people in their homes and we visit those in the hospital, sometimes at times when it is not convenient for us but we do it anyway.

* We are feeding the poor and feeding children.

* We teach Bible studies for adults, the youth and to young children.

* We hold a Sunday morning worship service for our church members to learn more about the Lord and his love, his goodness and his grace, and hold a Tuesday evening Bible study and prayer service.

* There are many other things that we do that are impacting the lives of people here.

More importantly we help people receive peace in their lives, something which the world cannot give.

I do not apologize for what we do. I do not apologize for asking people to support our ministry. We are making an eternal difference in the lives of people.

Just as you help people with the products from your company, or with the services that you provide, we are helping people by teaching them how to live a happier and more productive life filled with joy and peace.

When you pray for us and give a financial seed, you are partnering with God. He is the one who brings all blessings. He is the one who brings in the harvest and gives the rewards.

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is a powerful force. It is one of the most, if not the most, powerful forces in the universe.

Why? Because prayer changes things. Your greatest breakthrough will come when you pray.

Healing comes... when you pray. Financial miracles come... when you pray.

God promised he would provide for you.

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19)

Jesus shared with us how to get what you need.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33)

God knows what you have need of.

How do you get what your need? ASK...

Jesus taught us, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive" (Matthew 21:22)

Jesus taught us how to pray in what we commonly refer to as the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9 - 13.

"Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen"

Let's Pray This Special Prayer Together:

"Father, I set myself in agreement that your will shall be done today... in my government... on my job... in my home... in my church... in my family. Remove those who do not belong in my life. I speak to the North, the South, the East and the West and call forth those you have intended to be linked with me.

Father, your priorities are mine... Your will shall be done. I am led by your Holy Spirit. I have peace and am filled with your joy. In the name of Jesus. Amen."

Bibles for Pastors

I have been contacted by a pastor in Africa who is teaching and training other pastors and he shared with me that there are many pastors who have no Bible. This bothers me.

Let us partner with God and get Bibles into their hands. Will you give $10 to get a Bible into the hands of a pastor who has no Bible?

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105).

We are partners in ministry with trusted and proven pastors in Africa. These Bibles will go to those pastors who have shared with them that they cannot afford a Bible.

When you partner with God he will multiply your seed sown. Your blessings will overflow when you help the poor.

Please give to help get Bibles into the hands of these pastors.

"Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble" (Psalm 41:1).

"In All Labor There Is Profit..."

Proverbs 14:23 teaches us, "In all labor there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury."

When you labor at your job, there is profit.
When you labor while volunteering in church there is profit.
When you labor while at home there is profit.

Labor is defined as "productive activity, especially for the sake of economic gain"

It could be either physical or mental work. There is gain to be made in your daily work according the Word of God.

The second part of verse 23 tells us, "the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury."
I looked up the word penury, and it means 1. extreme poverty; destitution.
2. scarcity; dearth; inadequacy; insufficiency.

When we are laboring, or working, there is profit.
When we are only talking and taking no action, it brings extreme poverty and destitution; scarcity and lack.

Be an action taker. Do what you say you will do.
Complete what you start. You will be rewarded for what you do, not for what you say you will do.

Pray this prayer with me:
"Our heavenly Father, bless the labor of my hands. Bless all the work that I do. Let me be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only. Let me be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever I do shall prosper. Let me be a blessing to others. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen."

We have been praying for you, our faithful partners in the ministry. We are so thankful for you. Many pray for us and it means so much to Josie and I.

We need your prayers and your financial help. We labor in ministry sharing the Gospel. This past Saturday we fed approximately 40 children at a local elementary school in our neighborhood. We not only fed them physically, we shared the Gospel message with them. We played games with them and everyone had fun.

We are making a difference in the lives of these children and their families. The smiles on their faces touched my heart. Please help us to continue to reach out to these children and their families.
