When you sow a seed, you expect a result. If I plant seeds for roses, I expect rose plants to grow and eventually see beautiful roses.
You plant a seed in fertile soil. You don't plant seeds in the rocks. You plant seeds in dark, rich fertile soil so it will grow into a fruitful plant.
The same is with the seeds that you pant into the life of another person, or a ministry. When you plant in good soil you expect to receive a good harvest for your seed.
