The moment you were saved, were born again, you received the Holy Spirit. You received power from the Holy Spirit. "What power is that," you might ask.
First, you received a renewed mind. You now have the mind of Christ.
"For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ." - 1 Corinthians 2:16
Secondly, you received power over all devils. - Mark 16:17
You have the power and authority to cast them out. Command them to do what you want them to do. Jesus cast a legion of demons into a herd of pigs. That's where they wanted to go, so he obliged them and commanded them to go.
You don't have a problem telling other people where to go, so why don't you tell the demons where to go. I have commanded many of them to go back to hell where they belong and they left.
Third, you have the power to heal the sick. - Mark 16:18c
"they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
Is there any sick among you? Lay hands on them and they shall recover.
Fourth, you have the power to speak with new tongues.
What new tongues? It is your prayer language to God. When you pray in the Holy Ghost in the Spirit you use a language that is between you and God. It is a holy language. It is one that Satan and his demons cannot understand, but God understands. It is one that you use in your prayer closet when you go to God. Of course you can pray in your own language and God will hear. When you pay in tongues you you are speaking in a language that builds up your faith and is in the perfect will of God.
In closing, you have the power to take dominion over your territory. Dominate the territory God has given you. He wants you to have more!
