As you know, Typhoon Haiyan has devastated the southern region of the Philippines, including Cebu and Tacloban. Thousands have died as a result of sustained winds of 195 mph ripping through the region by one of the worst typhoons in the history of the Philippines. You can read more about the latest results at http://www.cnn.com/2013/11/11/world/asia/typhoon-haiyan-developments/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
In light of the catastrophe that was caused, and the deaths that occurred as as result, I am making plans to fly back to the Philippines to help those in need. This is for humanitarian reasons. They desperately need our help. I will be coordinating efforts with David Wilkerson, of Hope House Cebu. You can visit his website at http://www.hope4cebu.com/wordpress/hope-ministries/
Please consider donating to help another human being in need of food, clean drinking water, shelter, clothes and other things. This disaster has displaced thousands in the area. They desperately need our help at this time. My heart goes out to those and their families who were affected by the storm.
Please give generously to help as I fly back to the Philippines to show the love of God to those in need. "What you do for others, God will do for you." - Dr. Mike Murdock.
